One thing that Surya keeps learning is, "the more you try to connect with the people, who are so called friends, the more you give them the chances to ignore you". Whenever he talks about it, he never forgets to add the statement, "you know what, I learn, then I learn and then again I learn the same lesson.. even from same people must of the times". When he completes the statement, all his frustrations from inside would have been poured out. All I would do is listen with patience for I wouldn't know what to say.
I also used to think why is that the other side of the people never learn that someone is trying hard to connect with them. May be because he doesn't give them the chance to realize or perhaps they never really need such connection. I don't dare to tell him that since I don't really know the truth.
But I tell him, "why don't you give them sometime and see if they come back". When asked such question, he always gives a dry smile. Then I try to change the subject for I know it will come back anytime again in future.
